The firm is founded by Marc Bérubé. Right from the start, he sees a need among future young professionals.

In spite of their promising future, they have trouble finding objective advice for properly planning their future. Financial institutions aren’t interested in them: they prefer more established clients.

And so the firm comes to specialize in different future professionals and creates strategic partnerships with different universities. This approach enables the firm to develop expertise with incorporated professionals and, later on, with entrepreneurs.

Coaching TREK expands and acquires another firm. We move to Laval, to a modern environment that better accommodates our clients.

Supported by a network of established professionals, Coaching Financier TREK grows to a talented team of 25, including a dozen financial security advisors. The firm’s philosophy and the expertise of each advisor are what make Coaching Financier TREK strong.

Where does the name TREK come from?

The inspiration for the firm’s name comes from the idea that each individual has a summit to reach.

Trek, for TREKKING, refers to a mountaineering expedition. Our mission with regard to our clients is comparable to that of a sherpa, a Tibetan guide who walks along with the trekker throughout his or her ascent to the top of the mountain.
